With a fuel return kit, new is the way to go. You made a good choice. Others would agree. There are just some things you don't want to cheap out on. Exhaust stuff.. ok, intake pipes.. fine. Anything forced induction or fuel related is iffy. I'm currently going through this experience with a used Stillen S.C. Just not worth the agony and pain. In the end, you supported one of the vendors!

I had an issue with my stillen s/c as well from a member where the blower had metal shavings in the oil so it was rebuild (would be second time rebuilt) or buy new so I forked over the extra 2k in which I could've had a brand new kit almost off the savings from the used one. now its for sale with less than 4k miles on it

Sounds about right. Member told me there was only 10 K miles. All pullies were SHOT. No way there was 10K miles. I have a thread open for my current issue with the kit. In summary, the charge cooler in the plenum had a pin size hole. Went on the dyno after install and 6.5 PSI of coolant flooded my cylinders when it went into vacuum. I'm not at all a happy camper. I have not run into a blower issue YET... but I'm sure that will come soon too. And yeah... If I threw an extra 1,500, I would have had a brand new kit.

Don't feel too bad - plenty of people with brand new stillen kits have all sorts of problems too.

Sorry to hear man trust me I know the pain. The guy had a shop take it off and they had to send parts 3 different times as they forgot to send the whole kit or didn't know what went with it. Also had to buy NISMO specific items which was an extra grand that I didn't really need. It was a headache car was down for 3 months due to all the complications.

That is ridiculous to say the least. How do you like the gamma kit? Do you have a build thread i'm interested in numbers and psi and what not. I just picked up the v2 kit.

Love my Gamma kit, but it appears Gamma is out of business =(
Build thread and pic dump threads are in my Sig. I am making 520whp @10.5psi. Internal wastegates are setup for 8.5psi but it creeps in the higher gears to 10.5. Currently my power is limited by my relatively small fuel system - hope to remedy that in the future with parts this thread was created for.... Any questions feel free to ask in one of my threads.

Spoke with cjm if youre looking at being 650 or over they strongly recommend their rails as the stock fpd's haven't been tested that high nor from numbers seems safe. but the rails are on a 6 week back order.

Yeah I am not sure what I will do at this point - but most likely I'll be looking to purchase a used setup from someone's partout. Going for brand new injectors, pump, return setup, rails, flex fuel kit, and a retune adds up to more than I want to spend for another 100-150whp.
