There is no replacement for displacement no matter what anyone says, but 370z > Mustang.

Bought one on Saturday since the 370z will no longer be my daily driver as its going through a hardcore HP transformation. The GT's turbo project will start after I get further along with the Z. I dont want both the cars too far apart from running at the same time.
Those of you who think this car is ugly, or has a crappy interior... youre either nuts or you havent seen/driven the 2015. I got the black leather recaros and they are one of if not thee nicest car seats I have ever sat in. The interior is every bit as nice as my 370z, and the electronics and connectivity package in the mustang blows my Z out of the water.. theres no comparison there. But hey, its 6 years newer also. Its also got these awesome like 15" 6 piston brembos in the front that are pretty nice. I could ramble for a good hour about the features this car has that my Z does not. But I am just being defensive about my new car here. I love my Z every bit as much, and the things it doesnt have, it doesnt need... and it does other things as well or better without. No matter all the things my Mustang has.. A 2015 Mustang GT is NO replacement for a 370z. No way, no how. You simply must have both. I have no idea how i could possibly live without either of them now. My springs will be here hopefully tomorrow so this thing can come in for landing.

I've never been a Mustang fan, but there is no denying how fast they are.. especially the 2015's. With DR's, exhaust, CAI, some suspension work and some small weight reduction, this one ran a 11.2 @ 121mph. Lol, looks like after a few runs they already need a new clutch! Whatever it was they got the car fixed and recently ran a 10.6 all motor.

I agree with you that there are a number that do not post, normal/logical/does not deride comments, but from my experience on here, the majority of posters on this forum are fairly objective. Phunk is definitely a positive contributor here, but to say that his is the only post that is normal, I have to respectfully disagree. |

I can't comment on launching yet... 22 degrees out and wheel-hop city. Probably put 20,000 miles worth if wear on my axles and differential/mounts in the last 500 miles trying to drive the car hard with summer tires in cold weather. I actually just put it away for a little bit because I'm getting frustrated not being able to drive it all out right now.

I must admit the interior of the 2015 mustang is a big improvement from the "Fisher Price" plastics of the previous model.
Finally even the chevy's interiors has come to life and worth the accolades. I guess the bankruptcy has taught them a lot of lessons. Last edited by Zoren 370; 12-29-2014 at 11:01 PM. |
