Subaru BRZ leaving so soon?

I never understood dealers not letting ppl test drive those cars. At Porsche they beg you to test drive their cars. Yet I wasn't able to test drive an STi? Wtf? Or maybe they know if you test drive it you'll not want it anymore.

To be honest I drop a base model STI two or three weeks ago it only had like the shortshifter installed I think.

after the test drive I was ready to hand in my Z's keys.

now I still don't know what to get;

STI cuz AWD
or challenger SRT8 cuz POWER and V8 noise but it's RWD

plus it has an AT

there is literally nothing interesting to me other than murican or something like the ST/evo. plus as if the Z isn't boy racer/ricer material.

not many interesting cars out there after all the emissions/fuel economy bullcrap happened.

atleast I don't want racing stripes combined with 22 inch rims while slammed as much as possible. also sideways hat.

to be more on topic. to this day I still haven't seen a BRZ on the road. the toyotas are plentifull.

I test drove my sti, and some porsches. When I was shopping for my vette, the salesman said I couldn't td without a credit check. He said, "it's not like you can just drive a 911". I said, "funny, I drove two last week, and they insisted that I drive the new boxster s while I was there."

I was surprised to read how few BRZ and FR-S cars were actually sold, especially given all the love the automotive press has give these cars. But I suppose no amount of hype will make up for an actual test drive. Great looking car, but I was thoroughly unimpressed when I drove it.

I also think that the BRZ is way overpriced. Increase the HP by at least 50 and reduce the price to about 25k and it will be a very popular car.

I even think 25k is too expensive. Just 5k more and you get a base Z. If you are good at haggling then you can probably get one with sport for 5k more.

if it was 20k for the current BRZ/FRS, then that would be considered reasonable for me.
