I believe the image they are pitching as "this sure looks like it" is a render and may not be 100% representative of the car.


The biggest incongruity I see is the rear fenders. The front on the new car is more aggressive than the current gen, but somehow they are taking a step back with the rear fenders?



So far back, in fact that it looks a lot like the current-gen Impreza.




We will see at the show, but I'd be surprised if that render is accurate.
