I see it on every forum I am on. On the firearm types, it is:

"My wife would kill me..."

On the Corvette forums its:

"My wife wants to go to grad school and wants me to sell the Z06 to help pay for it..."

On the 370Z forums its some form of:

"My wife doesn't like my car and wants to get something like a 5-series..."

Here's the lesson...never do **** for a female. You WILL hate yourself after the divorce when you are driving past your old/her new house in the car you didn't want.

Is it your only car? If its shared it stands to reason that it would be a shared decision. If its YOUR ride, then it would seem to be your decision. My wife picked hers and I picked mine and that works well. Does she love the Z...yes and no...does she have a say...with all due respect she does not. I drove both the cars you mention and neither compare. If you love the Z...keep the Z. You'll resent her if you trade it in and hate your new car.

My wife and I have a 335 Coupe along with my 370Z...the 335 is rougher than the Z. Don't get one if that's such a concern. Our 335 has a handful of mods too, which actually helped make the car smoother and less harsh surprisingly). We're trading in the BMW for a 2012 Jaguar XF 5.0, though....my wife is the ******* best.

Does your wife have a car of her own?

Appreciate all the suggestions. I think I will go for the Audi TTRS all wheel drive, 360 hp. Unsure if I will private sale the Z or trade it in.

The 370Z needs a drop - Swifts (or rather, the spring rate and height of them) should've been standard.

I do feel that in some regards the 350Z, despite being rough as f*ck, exhibited just a tad less roll than the 370Z stock-for-stock. The 350Z's steering was also heavier and a tad more responsive, as a result. But again, it doesn't take much money at all to get the 370Z to where it's supposed to be - which is what makes it such a great car. It starts off with the right compromise of comfort and agility, and you can take it and fine tune it to your liking. It is a proper tuner car in that respect, as it does not break the bank. Not in my opinion, at least.
