By that logic the Nismo should hit 0-60 in the mid 4's, which it doesn't to my knowledge. I do agree it will be a close race though.

Agreed. The logic falicy however is how the NISM0 added 5 to 6% more power and supposedly better tires yet gained no discernable speed increase at all, regardless of how any other car stacks up.

As others have mentioned, the Genesis will be about the dynamics of the car. It may have the power but if gearing isn't good, suspension, etc then it won't pull that much better numbers. You can drastically change a cars 0-60 and 1/4 mile times just changing the gearing and suspension while leaving the power alone. The Z in theory could be faster than it is but it's set up to handle more so than to drag race. It will depend on how the genesis has been set up. |

Seems to me the automatic Z and NISMO z both are capable of hitting the mid 4's. Nissan 0-60 Times & Nissan Quarter Mile Times | Nissan Skyline GTR 0-60, Maxima 0-60, Altima SE-R, Murano, 350z, 2012 370z and 2011 Titan 0 to 60 stats! |

I wish those were true zero-60.On topic, I actually saw a 2013 Gen Coupe at a Hyundai dealer. Interior was nice, but the body is even downright fugly in person. It's kind of like that drunk chick you only want to see from behind.
