That's how I felt about my 370Z's handling. It was a joke. Never owned a vehicle set up so poorly before, and I didn't like it enough to replace the suspension, which is part of why it got sold for a Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2014. The car just never really made me love it. Much better composure in the CX5's suspension.

The 370z was nice inside, but the grindy transmission and oversprung and underdamped suspension made it something I never really loved. My cx5t has an amazing suspension and the "smartest" slushbox ive driven, along with amazing torque and great fuel economy and awd, more tech than my 2012 touring z, and a very quiet highway ride.
They probably fixed the transmission and I know 2013 got better shocks and struts, im just saying I got tired of grinding gears and skipping sideways in corners over the slightest irregularity, with my Z. Replacing it didn't bother me in the least. |

Granted, the Z isn't as crisp and tossable like an original NA or NB Miata, but a stock Z handles pretty darn good on its own. I do agree with you 110% on one thing though, getting far far away from people and living out in the woods like that. I'd kill for that kind of living!
