Bikers Attack Driver After Accident: Caught on Tape

Wow this thread blew up ...

IMO, these bikers are a bunch of asshats. I don't think the driver will have a very difficult time convincing a jury that he feared for his life even before he ran over the bikes/biker. And if any further evidence surfaces, I suspect it will only bolster the driver's defense. I will be interested to see how the law is applied in this circumstance.

If I were the driver, you better believe that the first guy I grabbed after a window got busted would have a gun shoved down his throat in a matter of seconds. Also, I would have had my wife on the phone with 911/police immediately after running over the bikes (of course I understand there's a chance this lady didn't speak English) explaining the situation and trying to coordinate a plan of action. I'd like to think that I would have driven towards a police station or something rather than into traffic.

What exactly constitutes a "MAJOR" action? Are you honestly suggesting they should have stabbed or beat him first?....before he's "allowed" to run them over?

Ye, if the bikers started beating him through the window, I wouldn't blame him from trying to get away. I only heard that he might have been threatened

And yes, they DID deserve to be run down and killed. That's what self defense is all about. You do something that threatens my life, I have the right to take yours.

I think they beat him only AFTER he ran the biker over.... Why would they beat anybody????? Don't car guys drive in groups. Are we looking to assault people???

I think the fact that the police received over 200 phone calls from people complaining about these thugs BEFORE this incident took place will also help his case.

If he gets sued, he should claim he was the victim of a hate crime due to his race.

The bikers attempted entry into the SUV after he bumped a rider after being brake checked. He ran over the guy escaping from that. Seriously, read the article I linked. It lays out the timeline as best we know it at this point.

The sad part is that no one came to the rescue after the guy started smashing window with his helmet, what happened to common decency? Everyone is too busy with taking photos and videos. If I have to, the range rover is going back in reverse, bikers must not realize their human chain link is no used against a range rover.

I think if any us were in his shoes and our family's safety was in jeopardy we would've have done the same. I sure would've flatten more than just one of them.

It's a gang of people, I don't think any one person or even a few people would have made a difference. But your right, people should have done something.
