Check the new Camaro SS out - Vette engine and tranny with a bit extra weight but a lot cheaper. May be the sweet spot. I don't care for their looks all that much, but the 1LE (appearance.handling) and ZL1 models (appearance/supercharger) models look better and are on their way. Test driving one of the SS models may have been a mistake as I liked the damn thing.
