Patents filed for the AU. Keep in mind the US spec could be slightly different as regulations are quite the same. show what appears to be the production model of the new Z. Basically exactly like proto. Few differences I noticed is the in the front grille you can a what looks like a cruise control radar, along with some sensors at the front and rear (possibly blind spot monitor sensors), keyhole for the trunk, keyhole and lock/unlock button for the drivers side door, and rear side markers. If I missed anything feel free to add.

EDIT: I could be wrong, but I just noticed after looking at the front again it looks like they added some kind of a body panel behind the grille to hide the big rectangle look!

I made a quick sh*tty sketch, but you get the idea. I believe they added that recessed part behind the upper grille after all the backlash about the huge rectangular gap in the grille when look at it straight on.

That patent drawing is exactly the same as the Proto Z. Because it's blacked out, you don't notice the filled-in part that is for the bumper beam.

Your rendering looks exactly how the car would look after Maaco forgets to tape off the black area.

Anyone else think that looks worse somehow or is it just me? I don't hate the original proto all black grill as much as I did when I first saw it. This however is somehow on another level of ugly with the paint matched section.

Of course that rendering looks worse. There's NO chance Nissan would do that paint selection at all. The grill will look similar to the proto, and the piece you see in that patent image is probably related to aero/cooling not design.

Nissan needs to get this thing out quick or at least some new info. This car excitement died weeks after the proto was shown due to lack of further info coming out. Come on Nissan, give us some more details to keep the interest alive.

There are patent drawings out there that show the production car so we are getting close.

I can't wait to see the final production details, especially which AT they will utilize (I'll be getting the 6MT though) and the colors offered. Also very curious what name they'll give it, I've been adamantly saying they won't call it "400" so I hope I am right.

I have been looking at the new 2021 Armada to replace my old Titan, but I gotta say the Armada has a very limited range of colors that don't appeal to me. Hope this doesn't occur with the new Z.
