After the last few years of seeing "Nissan 380Z" and "Nissan 390Z", I am actually surprised we didn't see any new "Nissan 400Z" articles this spring. Makes me sick to see "Journalists" spew garbage every year.

It would be nice to know what is coming next, but I'm not sure it will be an improvement. Not for me anyways. The latest 370Z Nismo models are quite unique IMO.
Seriously, what is their current competition? You can find lightly used Nismo cars for $30,000ish. 350 HP, 6 speed manual, good chassis and seats. A base model C7 Corvette with similar miles will cost you another $10k on average and it's not going to have Recaro seats. BRZ/FRS will be similar prices with way less power. |

Current competition is the Mustang, and Camaro. Can be had for similar prices. If you try you can find a performance package GT with Recaros, 120 more HP and all for around 30-35k. I don’t disagree that the Nismo is nice, but a new model is likely to come boosted and that alone would be worth the upgrade. |

I agree the Mustang and Camaro are competitors, but they're much larger vehicles. Approx 18" longer and 500 pounds heavier. The BMW 2 series and Porsche 718 are closer size wise, but more expensive. Looks like the M240i Coupe is priced/speced very similar to the Nismo. |

You're either calling me a grumpy old man or reminding me that NA true sports cars are almost dead, maybe both.. I'm not even that old, 35, but I want what I want.
I've driven a bunch of stuff (Camaro, Mustang, BRZ, Corvette, Civic) and looked at even more the last year or so and have landed on a lightly used Nismo. |

You guys have seen this, right?
https://www.nissanusa.com/vehicles/s...ersary_edition Sad to say, there doesn't appear to be a new Z lined up until well after 2020 -- just a 50th anniversary variant which looks kinda... err... well... "exclusive" is the kindest word that comes to mind... :icon14: |
