I hope it works out for you. I'm not sure dealers will make it much cheaper than a '14 as there's a good chance they have already paid for their '13 inventory and will be in no rush to lose money.

Might be a better value to hold out for a '14 if resale value is important. But since you're swapping out for an old bumper, don't know how much of a concern it is to you. Good luck either way !

On the main page of the website the title says 2014 370z and then a button below "build the 2013 nissan"

MSRP for an FR-S is still ~26k so that's like 2-3k difference between them and Z. To some that's a small difference, to others it's a world of a difference.
For one of the twins: ~$20% less money for ~65% less power and way less lux.

Maybe if one was paying cash, but another couple of grand over a 5 year car loan isn't much.

I got my 2010 spirt for 30k out the door with the extended warranty. I got tje deal because i got it in 2011in june with 90 miles on it. It was a new car just didnt sell at the original dealership so they made a dealer swap out of my car.

So im assuming you won't be able negotiate down much if at all from msrp. From what I read they dropped all the Nissans down closer to invoice price so the models would show up in different groups of cars so they would compare more favorably.

I guess we will see.

Great news for me 4k more in mods is what I will tell my self haha.

as said before by a few other people, i think it has more to do with the exchange rate when it comes to the Z as the Z is exclusively made in japan and with how much the yen has come down it has made it alot cheaper for many manufacturers to produce goods for export there which would translate to the pretty significant price cut that we are now seeing on the 2014 Z compared to the 2013. having looked at the 2013 invoice price over at truecars i can already tell you that they are already well below the invoice on the 2013's with the way the 2014's are priced now on the order of around $2,000 below the invoice on a 2013 so it's kind of a question mark at this point as far as negotiating down to invoice price on the 2014's, but i will let everyone know when i get the invoice price from the dealer my 2014 is being shipped to

You got a good deal, but the sticker price was lower in 2010 than in 2013. I did a similar deal when I bought my 2011. I got my 2011 for $31000 OTD.What is upsetting me is I just bought my 2013 a few months ago. If I knew they were gonna lower the price I would have waited and got a 2014, and saved a few grand. Now all of us who got a 2013 are gonna take a big hit on resale. Being that my z is not my daily driver and just a toy I don't drive it much. I only have 600 miles on it. I was planning on waiting till the next gen z cones out then trading up to that. Now that Nissan killed the resale value of the car most people will be rolling money over if they trade out of it. I did get a good deal on my 2013. $32000 OTD. But they way I look at it is if they went to $32000 on a sticker price of $37355 then imagine the deal you can get if the same car starts out at $33000. So in the end they screwed everyone who bought a 2013.

Which is what kills it for me... I WANT touring (for the Nav)... But $5k, THEN ANOTHER $2k for Nav?!?!?!

That means they want $1750 per seat, and $1000 for Bose, $500 for the mirror... That's a joke...

I doubt they'll do anything. You paid what you thought was a good price at the time. The current prices changed due mainly to the Yen weakening vs the dollar. Do you expect some kind of refund?

Yes I do want some type of refund. Maybe not the whole amount but something. Think if the people who bought their cars just a week ago it's kinda bulllshit. I paid what I thought was a good price for a $37000 car not a $33000 car. Iv only had my car a couple if months and only have 600 miles on it now its worth $4000 less just because they lowered the price on the new ones. Add that to normal depreciation and my car has crap value...

Good luck with that. I'd be shocked if you get a dime from Nissan. They have no control over monetary policy in Japan.

I really can't believe they lowered the prices here in the US. As I said before, the Americans are crazy, they'll go with pitchforks and rifles to corporate and start hell if they were just told that their car lost resale value overnight
