Any Fuel System Cleaner Recommended ??

Anything that will significantly affect octane will require stronger concentrations then you will get from one of those bottles in a tank of gas.

Seafoam is snake oil. It is not safe for Diesels either.

Completely untrue, The stuff works wonders especially when run through intakes. I've seen/felt night and day differences first hand.
I have yet to see a diesel Z so that seems irrelevant here, but you sir are entitled to your opinion.

It must go different for each driver.

If there's nothing to clean, then of course it is meaningless to put any cleaner.

I didn't try that Seafoam brand, but surely got benefit from using Valvoline Max and Techron CP for restoring lost power & performance.

But please remember that in my case for long time around first 60K miles drive I had been to only the cheapest gas stations on GasBuddy App that my Z must have had something to be cleaned.

Again, it must depend on. If you are healthy, what's your point to see a doctor ??

* No idea about Diesels cuz I never used it.

This statement isn't exaggerated at all, is it?? seriously. Your mileage nearly doubled. I'm gonna have to call BS on this one.

Seafoam is some pretty good stuff. I use it mostly for my lawnmower and weedeater. It keeps your fuel fresh and i will add a bottle every three months or so to my vehicles. Give it a shot and try it out on your lawn equipment at least if you are skeptical and base your opinions on what you know and not what you hear.

I guess I have been one of the lucky ones, insomuch as I have never had fuel go "stale" in any of my lawn equipment. (or perhaps I am unlucky insomuch as I have to use said equip. far too often) I do, however, use Sta-bil in all my lawn equipt. fuel cans, so....

Years ago someone tried to sell me on Seafoam. I bought it and used it in 2 of my vehicles, a 99 jeep Cherokee, and a 96 Saturn sl2. both were suffering from what I believe to be poor gas mileage and performance.
Aside from smoking like all hell, and pissing off the neighbors, the seafoam had absolutely ZERO effect on either issue, in either car.
Now, I know the believers will tell me that I did something wrong, or didn't use enough product, blah, blah, blah.
Buy it if you believe, don't buy it if you don't. Simple.
Personally, I feel that good quality fuel, and good quality oil has all the detergents they need, and an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Maintain your vehicle as you should, and the need for all these "snake oil" products go away.

The problem I have with this statement, even though I would agree with it most of the time, is that Its burns me to see that so many companies are making billions of dollars on products that just simply do not work as advertised, because people are "trying it".
The flipside of it all is that there are so many reviews, and they swing 50/50, basically forcing you to do exactly that. A friend of mine that worked at advance auto told me they can't keep these on the shelves, and they go for $50 there......... http://www.amazon.com/Fuel-Doctor-FD.../dp/B0031BRN2I

Well it worked for me on several occasions. I purchased a yamaha FZ1 carby model and used sea foam on it until it cleared it. I blew black smoke and it spitted and sputtered for the first 6 tanks then it was gone. The carbs were cleaned out. My lawnmower was the same way and last but not least it's a fuel stabilizer. Put it in your 5 gallon tank and let it sit for the winter. You can use that fuel in the spring. It's not a miracle cure for all fuel issues but from my experiences it works.

Seafoam made my old beater Volvo run noticeably smoother, but that was a car that was well over 200k miles and the previous owners did not maintain the car all that well. When I used it on newer cars, all I noticed was my wallet was $8 lighter.

According to Bob Is The Oil Guy, Techron is really the best readily available fuel treatment. The rest do very little.

I've used Seafoam and MMO to get old beat to shít bikes to run properly.

I'll stand behind those 2 products. More seafom over MMO
