Well can't say how the Z paddles are but I have experienced the good and bad from Lexus.
07 is250 paddle shifters were 'cool' at first but then the shifts were delayed which really annoyed me. the 14 is350 paddle shifters are a little more low profile, has a better tactile feedback and also the shifts are dramatically quicker. I think technology has come a long way in the past few years for the automatics. That said I still have a hunch that MT will be phased out from the majority of manufacturer's over the next decade. |

Lol the reason I was hesitant to get into a 370z was the manual transmission felt heavy and clunky. I know some people say its "raw " or whatever but for an entry level sports car and daily driver that would get annoying . The first to second shifting has to be perfect.. Nissan should stick to automatics because I hear the same issue with 4.0vq frontier drivers. They love the automatic tranny hate the manual. You can actually feel the torque in the auto with the 370z also.
