Is that an automatic Mr. Carwash, as in the national chain? I am concerned the side ground effects would catch the edge. To date I have been hand washing, waxing, however starting to have some health issues where that may not be possible much longer...so if I can safely go through an automatic car wash (staff notwithstanding), it may be necessary in my future.

I did, however, wash and wax it in my driveway just this morning!

I know they have a few options up here in Toronto where it's a true 'touchless' wash... you drive in and then you stop and then park. It brings the machine around and then you drive out. line ups for those suck but if your health is not up to par then you should try locate one of those.

Hope it's not too serious and you can continue to hand wash n wax... it's like my zen ;)

Yea, it was a PAIN.. Took me and my uncle a good hour to just take the Stock Knob off. Vice Grip with towel on transmission shaft, and Oil Filter Wrench on the actual knob...Knob got damaged as soon as we tried turning the 1st time (Oil filter Wrench + Towel).

Thanks. Love the new feel. Shifts better (Smoother).

This is what I use sometimes. Not as good as a hand wash but certainly much better than nothing. I don't have scratches/swirls from it, the worst thing that happens to me is water spots.

Had the car parked in a parking lot, came out to find it scraped on the side. Scratches are removed but it left a small dent. Once I get ready to purchase a new body kit, I'll take care of the small dent as well.

Finally got her washed. She's so pretty now.

JARblue 01-20-2015 01:45 PM

Gave away my stock intakes

2011_6Spd 01-20-2015 04:53 PM

Got my tires re-balanced. What a world of difference no more steering wheel shimmying back and forth and no more slack in the steering wheel. Left front was off by 1.25oz and all others were off by .5oz.

Zerocool 01-20-2015 07:59 PM

anyone know if the non sports model brake dust shields are the same as the sport brake dust shields?

Looking into purchasing the set from Z1 eventually and I'm wondering what's NEEDED instead of what i can purchase.

ZeNato 01-23-2015 07:56 AM

Picked up my baby from the vehicle port in Germany! At the gym now but about to take the long way home and have some fun on theselected curvy roads!

Contemplating selling the OEM Rays to make a little extra money.

i keep minimum 2 sets per car... just in case.

B&W_Evader 01-23-2015 03:05 PM

Ran over a bolt on the highway earlier this week. Killed a perfectly good RE11. THe shop put a 285 on the front first then they got it right. Got to drive it again today... :happydance:

Motto of the story... 285s will fit on the front wheels.

They're just taking up space in my garage. They have tires on them (OEM), but the right-rear is not drivable, so I have four good wheels, but three good tires.

Gonna have my buddy remove the tires and sell the wheels alone, then sell the tires as a set of three or whatever I can do.

Haboob 01-23-2015 03:22 PM

...because I'd otherwise have to buy two more new rears to put on the OEM Rays and let them sit until I want/need them on. Not really cost effective.

b15 01-23-2015 03:38 PM

It was a little warmer today so I Installed a backup camera and Integrated to the OEM nav. Should've this a long time ago.

When I first bought my car, they put new tires on it,but put the 275 on the front and the 245 on the back rim. The back was hellastretched!!!

yah, you'll probably get more buyers after you take snaps AFTER removing the wheels to prove to them no dismount marks.

i lol at folks selling wheels/tires that are still on their cars. how the hell can you insure that the wheels dont get scuffed from now to the time the new owner pays? :shakes head:
