Ran errands to doc's, grocery store, bank, and post office.

Oh, and filled up @ $2.99/gallon at my local Shell station.

Oil change

Ghostvette 11-07-2014 08:47 AM

Changed the oil & filter, then off to the car wash.
Belle is happy, fresh oil and a month's worth of bug guts gone. ;) :driving:

Friday drive to work on a gorgeous day here in our nation’s capital. Seriously need to wash it. Probably a wax as well since we are near the end of the driving season.

The weather is perfect again today. I hope for a good driving day too.

Ms. BC!!!

Hello.

onzedge 11-07-2014 02:07 PM

I washed and waxed the 370 this morning.

(Meguiar's Ultimate)

b15 11-07-2014 04:55 PM

Changed the oil today and took her for a quick drive. Hoping it's warm enough tomorrow for a wash/wax. Then under the cover she'll go for the next 4-5 months :(

Silly Rabbit 11-07-2014 05:50 PM

Got her sideways for the first time.

It's Friday. I get home and decide to take a quick backroad spin before getting the weekend started. Headed down a windy tree covered road, headed into a sweet S turn, push her a little more and start to grin as I come out the back end. Look up and Mr teen age a$$ bag pizza delivery boy is in the middle of the road. I swerve right, come off the road as I pass this pimple faced fxck. Correct to get back on the road and the rear swings around and I'm sliding sideways toward the ditch and a row of trees. Get it under control and swing the rear back around the other way and she finally snaps back in line.

Guess the Blizzaks are ready for winter.

Me too! Good luck getting your Z all fixed up

P's_Z 11-08-2014 07:01 AM

Attempted to "clean" my rotors/pads using the "brake break-in" procedure but failed miserably... Who knew there would be so much traffic at 7am on a saturday :shakes head:

Will try tomorrow as there should be less traffic on a sunday morning

tnav 11-08-2014 07:11 PM

Picked up my Z from Fontana Nissan, Chris worked on my car:
-Larger Setrab oil cooler
-Front and Rear Stillen Sway Bars
-Front and Rear Stoptec rotors
-Front and Rear Hawk HP Plus
-Brake flush with Motul RBF600
-Front and Rear Z1 extended studs + spacers

Took it for yet another little drive through Angeles Crest, the Z is absolutely "INSANE" I can finally say this is how I always wanted the car to feel ... I am running 275 RE11s in the front and 305 RE11s in the rear, the handling is ridiculous :)

Finally decided to stop being a lazy *** and install my remote start.

Works with my factory fob :happydance:

Freakin' Redline shift boot was a pain in my arse.
Holes around the bottom of the boot weren't drilled or punched.

Pintsize725 11-09-2014 09:52 AM

Went to C&C for 20 minutes with my love, and my hubby. :icon17:
We got there early so no one was really interested in the Z.

As my physics professor said - new "Bat-Tree" covered by warranty. First time at the local dealership was painless.

Installed the Sylvania Zevo Interior LED Light Strip Kit under the dash of both driver and passenger sides. I hardwired it with a fuse tap since I didn't want to lose any power sockets.

PASMAG | PERFORMANCE AUTO AND SOUND - Sylvania Zevo Strip Kit: Step-by-step install

I chose to leave it orange (there are multiple colors which can be changed with the wireless remote), so it matches with other interior lights. The lights can be turned off (with the same remote) or made brighter/dimmer. I opted for them to come on automatically when the parking/driving lights are on.

The top photo is the dimmest setting (probably what I'll use in everyday driving) and bottom photo is the brightest.

Finally wore down the rest of my front tires but still not as much as the inside edge.
