I get dings in the hood right past the almost $1k I spent on protective film...the most mysterious scratch I have is a horizontal scratch under the mirror on the driver's door...

:ughdance: i have one of those too. Believe it or not but the flat surface of my fingernail created it. I did while detailing my car. :icon14:

Also, found two new scratches on the Z. Hooray for being so freakin OCD and careful with my car and still managing to find mysterious scratches that i dont know how they got there... F*ck!

I feel your pain, got a new scratch above the 370z emblem (I blame the car wash people), one scratch on the fender right next to the hood (no freaking idea how that happened), small chip on the roof right over the windshield (touched it up already, probably a rock), and scratches in the interior, door sill, door panel, and on steering wheel (all from people other than me that drive it, mechanics, car wash, big a** service advisor, etc)

I just had my car serviced, the Nissan guy pulls the car out, and while getting out, he steps on the freaking door sill with his huge a-s-s mother-f boot, I wanted to punch this ignorant individual in the nose, but I can't do that, so I just freaking left annoyed as hell, I mean what's the point of educating these animals

This and other reasons I avoid delaers . hell since 1500 miles my seat base is slightly loose and headliner trim slightly not aligned. I know for a fact if I took it for warranty it'll come back worse !

Picked my car up from the dealership today. My CSC went out and had them install the ZSpeed CSC and new CMC. It drives great and hopefully more reliable. They took care of it under warranty which was really decent of them. I supplied the ZSpeed CSC and they did the install. They treated me right and I'm happy.

jpkirk 10-15-2014 07:51 AM

That is very cool.

mishuko 10-15-2014 08:11 AM

good to hear your dealer was accomodating!

The apartments I've lived in have always had a hose hookup but I do live in the south in a small town so that may have a lot to do with it.

Sad face parts didn't come today. Probably arrived late at the shop and was sent today...

And to make matters worse traffic all round and a giant road closure due to a gas leak.

Come on jeebus let me get my car and parts!!!

JARblue 10-15-2014 05:45 PM

Finally received my ARC cooling fins (thanks chops!!). Two days of delivery attempts that were noted "Business Closed" online. How about you show up to my office during actual business hours  I stuck around an extra hour yesterday (until 5:30 pm) and nothing. Today it showed up during lunch with no one there to sign and they still left it :shakes head:

mishuko 10-15-2014 05:58 PM

Lol jar that sucks!

HOLY CRAP! yea... let's just say we avoided the area.

update, the area is partiall re-opened except northbound is still completely blocked. Something about a gas-leak in the morning... :shakes head:

Driving last night I realized there is always a need for more power. Went very spirited... super spirited at times. Unwinding the engine to 7krpm multiple times to hear that roar. Usually 80% throttle is a good kick. Oh man that week without my baby was a nice break... truely makes me appreciate all 330 ponies at the crank. The fact you can feel a kick in any gear at any speed makes me all :excited::excited:

Update on the parts... the shop will be delivering it by hand today. Hopefully. Godamn =(

kenchan 10-16-2014 07:43 AM

mishuko, where did your 2 horses go? ran away? :icon17:

Mt Tam I am 10-16-2014 08:58 AM

I had to go north yesterday at commute hour. I gave myself 45 minutes to get there and be on time. Two minutes into my journey I came to a complete stop. I figured this was to be my fate for awhile. That was the only slow down. I arrived in only 15 minutes.

The reason given by the police.........

I'm looking around for full carbon mirrors for Tina since the cable installer snapped one completely off of her while stringing a fiber line....

I sat next to her (the car) and just cried ... a bonding day for the z and I
