Got my alignment done finally. Hooks if I want it to and will break loose if I want it to. I'm liking these Nittos so far.

Awesome feeling too when I bring the 370 to a shop like that where they have GT-R's and other cars like that on a daily basis and they all tell me that it's one of the nicest cars they've seen in a while

Was it the driver bank that was dirtier? That's what I noticed when I cleaned mine last week. Some of the residue along the edge of the butterfly valve was virtually impossible to remove, even after repeated application of throttle body cleaner.

I had been to the dearlership with 'service engine soon' light up. They said something got inside to air-pressure sensors by accident, and cleared it so now no problem.

Had everything to do it, just didn't have the gonads to follow through. Had a fitted car cover this year and in two wind storms blew the cover off except it stayed on because of the mirror pockets. With it flappin' in the wind some scuff marks appeared, last weekend worked on the spoiler and came out nice, figured tonight I would work on my 3 year old VIS AMS hood. Took about 3 hours, car is sitting inside because I put a sealer on it. For 3 years old (hood), me thinks it looks pretty good, each night I'll do a panel or 2 until I'm done or it kills me.

Here are the results.

Pulled my intake manifold. Going to retap it as I'm hoping the crappy job I did the first time is the source of my wobbly idle...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a604eb6863.jpg

Same oem... I just did a crappy job when I tapped it for BOV lines so I'm going to try and fix it up to see if it stabilizes my idle... Throwing darts in the dark lol.

Hey everyone,
Here's a thread where you post a picture or update or story or info on what you did to your Z today. All the replies must be on topic here. There are some member who want to keep a "on topic" thread on this topic and don't want to scroll though a lot of unrelated replies. If you're one of members, you are more than welcome to participate in this thread. However, if you want to carry on the same topic with other stuff , please post in this thread: http://www.the370z.com/lounge-off-to...ay-thread.html

I'll start this thread off with this:

Finally washed my Z after 5 months and 27 days!

washed and waxed mine too! waterless wash with a pump spray bottle is so much easier and cleaner to work with

Got up and took a cruise to my mechanic, couldn't take my car until Wednesday, so then why was I told to come in? Anyways, 50 km of pure freeway bliss with the windows down with the system up.

The first one moreso than the second one. I wonder how long until they are seized.

So little bit of good news, looks like my head gasket is ok, but radiator is blocked up. Also fixed the axle clicking with a fresh coating of molykote and some brand new axle nuts and cotter pins

after 7 weeks without her!

Spent some quality time with her this morning polishing the headlights. she still needs a wash and some small detail ,but im too tired from a long week at work.
Anyway it was at the body shop for almost 2 months being partially painted and according to the body shop ,Nissan kept sending the wrong parts.
It is so perfect now ,not a chip or mark on it for now. im hoping to keep her from more than normal wear and tear ,the small stuff is unavoidable as she is my daily driver.
Kind of a time capsule now due to only 50k miles and a newly restored body.
The reson for the stay at the body shop was a road debris strike that messed up the bumper and the left side skirt. :hello::driving:

Spooler 04-30-2017 07:17 PM

34 row FI oil cooler installed today with an oil change. Oh what fun. One step closer to Zdayz. I have the new OS Giken diff to get installed and brake fluid to flush. I will be ready to go besides a good wash and cleaning.
