I pulled my boot up and it sits right now. I'll play with it and see how it works but yea it needs like 1cm higher for it to sit perfectly flush. Without dropping. Time to start go ogling;)

You can always do that rubber washer trick that worked really well. Was in the "how to align the turtle" thread

yesterday I opened up fuel system; thinking I may have gotten bad gas/mixed some with water to ensure no ethanol.
Just hasn't ran the same since last fill up & was actually sputtering & would not rev up...?
No cel light & no way of watching data while driving right now.
So checked all electrical connectors,vacuum,etc...all good.

motored my Z.. had a good drive. car felt so slow at first especially since my other cars are turbo's with lots of torque.

after a bit of spirited driving da ECU finally woke up and started putting out some real power out of da VQ. :p

New headlight bulbs! Yay for OEM HIDs!

Need to get myself some of these so they match my DRL's which stay on with my headlights

All I've done the past few weeks is argue back in forth in my head whether or not to do more mods.

Logical side says "I'm honestly quite happy with the car and should be saving my money"

Illogical side says "Buy the intake, tune, front lip, side skirts, test pipes, new seats, quaife lsd, etc"

i decided my headlight could use a little tone down so ordered some tint. my Z is silver so should look nice. i dont usually drive da car at night so should not affect anything.

i also decided, after doing da oil change yesterday, dat my Z is still in like-new condition top and undercarriage so will keep her a couple more yrs. im on my 8th yr. last car i sold waz my G35C which i owned for 12yrs.

Uncovered it and attempted to start it up for the first time in 3 months...then realized my trickle charger wasn't plugged into the outlet... fml dead battery!!

Did a few rows yesterday. I like the height of the shifter being a bt lower than oem. Feels nice rowing. Still different than oem and need to get used to it. Feels natural though.

And now I find myself gently stroking the turtle at stops lol

on another note... I had this problem. got a little spirted on my launches and well... felt. slow... =( then again I was taking it easy on the corners and on-ramps didn't want to get too fun while tires were still not warm + ground temps being cool.

I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts website and searched for a "121G" in the parts search. I think I need one of those!

Haha...I seen that last night also...Just for that I may shop at O'RILEY'S now. Thinking maybe some chrome badges or vents

yah, my Z felt slow too when i took her out for a spin last weekend. give it a couple of WOT runs and should open up. seems like da ECU takes some time to wake up after hibernation.

Took her out again last night did a few first gear pulls. Had a nice peppy feel. I think it's also cause I had it on base map during storage. Was trying to isolate a sporadic clicking noise and wanted to check if it was too much timing advance.

I think it's heat shield or something because it only come out once in awhile and it's only at a narrow mid range rpm band.

Don't get me wrong it's still fun. Just had one of those maybe if we're faster moments :ugh2:

Finished spraying the clear. I know the close ups are blurry. Lighting wasn't good and im using an ipod to take pics. Better pics later. Never actually looked close at a magnetic black before. They have pearls like that? I like it.
This was my first time doing this.

Usually I do a cost of paint sealer then two coats wax, but this was impromptu and I need to address some paint issues soon anyways so it would be a waste, not to mention that much more work right now.

at least its not pearl white. In regards to paint issues. Its a pain to that corrected.
