I looked at tons of aftermarket vents but I wanted it flush with no lip whatsoever so this was the only way I could do it.

And I scored a second hand hood for $40

ChaseZ 03-31-2017 09:20 AM

Those vents aren't huge but you could roast a chicken with the heat that comes out of them.

So if I see a black Z with a chicken on a spit over the hood, that's you? :stirthepot:

Hotrodz 03-31-2017 09:26 AM

Yup, there is a company in Huntington Beach, CA that makes similar vents! I need to find their web address again and contact them.

Was thinking I'll start with something simple. Maybe hotdogs on a stick, like an urban campfire

Will work my way up to beercan chicken, maybe some roasted corn on vent 2 :yum:

Back to stock hood for me. Took the black Z's stock hood for experimentation for vents inserts or just chopping vents into it and see how it looks. No harm if I screw it up.

motored my Z dis am. had a good time, finally able to give her a fill since last october. stabil was in da tank so no issue.

Z_ealot 04-01-2017 07:26 PM

Dropped the Z off this morning to corner 3 to hopefully find the cause of my overheating issue

DeliriousClam 04-01-2017 10:08 PM

Decided not to sell it, gave it a name after two years of ownership, and decided to put my cats back on. I'm not digging the test pipes. It's way too loud now

ChaseZ 04-01-2017 11:22 PM

What kind of test pipes did you have?
