Drove Brian "Head" Welch to our church

I hung out a little with Brian Welch, guitarist from KoRn. He was doing an interview today at our church, and will be our guest speaker tomorrow. We had a big event called Freedom Fest this weekend where Christian artists perform, and there is food, music, and fireworks. He's an awesome down-to-earth guy.

Installed the Z1 oil cooler and did an oil change.

Raidernation 06-26-2016 03:32 PM

Installed the Z1 silicon post MAF intake. What should have taken 45 minutes took me almost 2hrs to do. I dropped a pair of pliers in the engine bay that took 45 minutes to fish out. I literally used a fishing pole to get them out.

The sleeves were good to go. The only thing I had to trim was the passenger side breather hose. I trimmed about 5/16" off it.

changed my rotors and brake pads this weekend. wasn't as easy as i thought it would be. it was a pita to take the two bolts out holding the brakes in place. but after that everything else went smoothly.

You actually advertise that you are a Raiders fan? It is like enjoying Justin Bieber music. if it good for you, then OK -- you just should keep it to yourself.

Didn't do anything except drive it a bit today. Finalized a Stillen order too, I guess that counts.

oh ya what I came in here to post... I got my exhaust put on today...
Top Speed
axel back
... really happy with everything, paid 450 cash for the exhaust.. fit like a glove on the install, the sound is great, no drone on the hwy and sounds great when I step on it. Was impressed with the build quality as well, all in all cant go wrong for the price... as many of you know top speed made it for the nismo version so the tips stick out an inch or so extra. Before having it on my plan was if I liked everything else about it I would get it fab'd later but honestly doesnt even bother me.
Would recommend to others for sure...:driving:

Exactly why I went with the AAM Short Tails instead. I don't like the looks of the tips sticking out that far. Just my opinion of course. ;)

That's your teeth. You should probably roll up your windows when it's snowing out.

That means your engine oil level is low. Make sure it's not overfilled and stop worrying about it.

Poor Z went to a small car meet last night. This "meet" consisted of Miatas with no exhausts, 04 WRX's with bent fenders or missing bumpers, and some weird Golfs with crap audio systems. I easily had the nicest, cleanest, actual sports car by 100k. If this was a Cars & Coffee event, i'd be the equivalent of the guy with the Ferrari F40.

If that wasn't bad enough, the car groups all had their own little groups. Nobody talked to one another and nobody complimented or looked at anyone elses cars. It was like being back in high school. Just very awkward and weird. Now I know why my area has little in terms of a car scene.

after zdayz I went to this 'car meet' and it was the same thing. mostly click-ish. at first mostly some older civics and such with some questionable taste in mods. then some Mazda's showed up. a genesis and little later a few Nissan cars. there was an IS-F and c63 but they were stock. I was disappointed :( I tried talking to people but they gave me weird looks. like uh ok :wtf2:

Yea, really don't get it. I always hear of people in car cultures being wicked nice and can start a conversation with anyone. These kids seriously thought they were cool with ricor wings and missing bumpers.

The only dude I get along with at those meets is the guy with the RB-swapped 240sx

OK. So I'm quoting my own post.
Does anyone have an idea what paint code is used for the grey?
Since I got the button surround, I'm jonesin' to hide all of the shiny silver stuff and I don't want to spend a grand to do it.

I was thinking the same thing until I saw the price. It's 15 bucks more than what I paid for the button! I'll stick with the silver ring for now.

It does look good though!
