It's a new revolutionary system. For only $19.95.

I know what you mean. I think the spacing is perfect. The rears are almost flush and the fronts are just tucked in a little. It even makes it look like the car has been lowered. In fact, I've been thinking that I might save some money by NOT buying the Swift springs and instead get some stock Nismo springs (new or very low mileage used) instead as I think they lower the car just a touch as well as being a little bit stiffer. Then just get an upgraded front sway and be done with it.

Got any links?

I've been looking but not finding a whole lot of decent info. One site that looked promising ended up no longer being around. I think it was called "your led shop" or something like that.

I'd like to get LED's for the map lights, the rear cargo light, and licence plate lights. Just white, not blue or anything. I really like the "exact fit" ones from iJDMToy, but doesn't seem like they offer any for the cargo and licence plate led's.

Ijdm sent me some led lights the other day as part of a package deal of some sort. I'm sure they must have lots on their site or at least available.

Yeah basically just gotta find white LED bulbs with a base type 194. Very common

ChopsZ 06-23-2016 09:27 PM

Excellent guys, thanks! I may look into replacing the reverse lights with some Cree projector LED's as well as that rear fog light. Maybe the on that doubles as a backup light and brake light.

I have that fog light. It's nice

kenchan 06-23-2016 10:06 PM

Yah just be careful not to get the super bright ones or tall. The 4 led is about perfect lightning imo

Totally agree. I already have the lowering springs and camber kits so I'm going to go through with it, otherwise I'd be tempted to leave it. I went with 25mm front and 30mm rear. I might have to get 25's for the rear once it's lowered but I wanted to try 30's first. Right now it looks almost perfect. Hoping it's even better lowered.

Nice to see it coming together for you.

Can't wait to see it in the flesh
From the looks of things it'll be next week sometime?

Now you'll need to add some more go, to go with the show! :driving:

cooltoy 06-24-2016 11:54 AM

Thanks.

I am all show. :icon17: And proud of it. To bad that race track bid fell through.

I am figuring 2.5 weeks. Better to take the time.

Last I heard they were taking a second run at it that had a fair bit of backing. I'd definitely buy a membership if it comes to fruition.

This at HPR last Tuesday.

The Z is a pretty good film chase car as ith fast smooth and not too loud to hear my buddy's cars.

30mm in the rear?! My 20mm in the rear looks like the tires would rub if I lowered the car. Using the stock wheels? 18's or 19's?

Rear fenders are rolled from factory so as long as my tiens don't sag too much I should be good. If not I'll order 25's. And yah it's on stock 18's.

UPS dropped off my Garageline mid and x pipes today. I had the axle-back already. Installed then this afternoon. The tone was not as deep as I expected. Will check the butt dyno tomorrow for how it feels.

No, the one by Airdrie. It was supposed to have been capable of hosting an F1 or Indy race. The farmers voted it down.

That is terribly short sighted. Would have been an excellent location, and brought some money and jobs into the town. Somebody needs to buy Bucars in Balzac and turn it back into a racetrack. Still a practically brand new facility.

Did the first oil change on my new 16 Nismo today. Used the kit from Z1 Motorsports and got their magnetic drain plug too. Cute lil guy on there.

http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...pscfsz6xnv.jpg

Didn't remove the million clips/bolts of the undertray - just 4 10mm bolts then zip tied the tray out of the way. Worked well.

Took some undercarriage shots for fun - love having lifts at home.

Thanks, glad to have the first change done. The lift is a Direct-Lift, we bought it off a local transmission shop when they were moving to a different location. It's pretty basic but a 4 post lift is very convenient for oil/fluid changes, exhaust work, etc.

Our 2 post lift we just had installed brand new to replace an old used unit we have had for 15 years or so (that we bought used 15 years ago). It's a nice Rotary Asymmetrical 2 post - built right here in Indiana. It's a top notch piece.
