At least airbag didn't deploy. I lived in Houston before and I know that location, one of the widest stretch of 59 (like 6 lanes?), good that your car didn't swing to the right side or it would've been pinball machine style multi-car accident.

Today I got the first new in-cabin microfilter installed.

For last 120K miles I've driven without it after its purchase, and now I'm taking some pills for my allergy.

I am VERY thankful that airbags did not deploy nor that I hit anyone. Could have been a lot worse!

Deja vu all over again ...

Pedal to the floor. Pretty sure a clutch cylinder blew. Not sure which one. Both are heavy duty and essentially brand new with a couple hundred miles on them :icon14:

I've learned my lesson. Towed directly to the shop. Will let Kevin diagnose it and then buy whatever part(s) he needs :shakes head:

Got rear ended 2 days ago at a car wash, guy was trying to reverse out of a parking spot near there and he didn't see me.

I know, never have i been at an automatic car wash before that day. Just being lazy and with having well water at home, sometimes it's the only choice if the car is too dirty.

I guess i got what i deserve for going there.. Thank god he didn't reverse into my quarter panel, but just took out a tail light and slightly dented the rear bumper. Got an estimate at a nearby body shop and he paid me in cash. I was almost thinking about changing my bumper to the Nismo rear but decided against it and will be replacing the tail light only and saving the rest for tires/ parts later on. Rear bumper looks fine unless you are just less than 6 feet away, Don't care that much really.

If anybody is selling a right hand tail light for cheap, i'd appreciate it.

WTF is it with people these days? No common courtesy for people backing out of parking spaces or even basic common sense when driving; just get in, fire it up, put it in gear and romp on it...... asshats.... :shakes head:

Bought some K&N drop ins and Z1 Post MAF tubes from TBATT.... :happydance:

Went to check up on the progress.

Skirts are painted. Bumpers are going into the booth. They spent a week on the skirts in order to get the best match.

Been following a few of your posts regarding master failures before joining. Had me mulling over the RJM version. Reading this is just...wow.

Great stuff!

Nice to finally see it coming together. Look forward to the back-on-the-road photos! :)

ChaseZ 07-31-2016 02:35 PM

Kindly refrain from posting pictures of your car please...

Makes me regret taking black off the lot instead of ordering grey :(

Not that I mind the black, in fact I like it very much. But it seems I do prefer the grey, which is what I set out to look for but none were available at the time.

It would help if I could see the damn tailpipes without having to scroll horizontally. Just like Clam needs to paint his handles gold, you need to reformat your photos. hahahaha

The fact that you commented on that within seconds on mine....

You def need to paint over the CF with gold. It's only right.

NOPE. Although I wouldn't mind if the door handles and wheels were worth their weight in gold

Could trade for more gold. I'm only typing so we can extend the page so I don't have to scroll for 3 minutes to type

Fair enough. I've had enough gold. Being Italian and from NJ is bad enough without everything being gold.

Wifey chauffeur drove me in the Z to Whistler BC for lunch.

It's clear that when she insisted I get the Z, she actually wanted to have it around so she can drive it. :driving:
