Also got my oil test kit from blackstone, going to be sending my 15k oil change sample off to see how engine is doing, I'm running Motul btw

Going to try and take the Z out of storage next to all of those damn Moostangs next weekend. That'll give me a week to do a fresh oil change, drive the flat spots out of the tires, add wheel spacers, find paint code to order spoiler, and hopefully finally order my ings+1 lip.

Car Weight

Weighed my coupe this am. 3400 lbs with full tank of gas. Gas is 120 lbs , so car weighs 3280, just like specs say.

Yes, stock, sports pkg. premium fuel (supposedly) weights 6.35 lbs a gal.

Z_ealot 03-26-2016 05:12 PM

Drained the oil this morning, rerouted oil cooler lines to a better protected location, cleaned maf with maf cleaner and undid the o2 sensor connectors and maf connectors to give them a good cleaning with some qd electronics cleaner. Then installed new oil filter and refilled with 6 quarts of redline oil :D

kenchan 03-26-2016 06:35 PM

motored my Z today, had a good time. :p

definitely NOT running it in my G or Z in the future.

I don't know what oem was but before I went to the redline brand it was a lot worst in the cold getting into 1st and 2nd... I found double clutching helped but not by much lol

bflo370z 03-27-2016 08:30 PM

I spent the day doing paint correction on the Z. NEVER AGAIN!

Wash:

B pillar before:
http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/...psq90wt6tr.jpg

B pillar after:
http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/...pshve3bg3h.jpg

Hood during (can see how bad it was. The rest of the car was this bad. Thanks previous owner)
http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/...pskgtlrbuh.jpg

Roof after:
http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/...psmrksjkrg.jpg

Hood/car after (11 hours later):
http://i1215.photobucket.com/albums/...pss5kqln39.jpg

And to whoever in a black 370 stopped by while I was doing this, you should have walked up! Sorry I didn't see you. I was in the zone haha and I was told "someone with your car only in black stopped outside but drove away"

Now time to pass out. I'm dead

mishuko 03-28-2016 08:21 AM

Wow what happened to your car? :s

mishuko 03-28-2016 10:31 AM
