Sunday my wife and I went for a nice back road trip. Ended up in Gadsden Alabama at the Back Forty Brewery. Had a couple of their fine beers and then took a tour of the brewery. After that we ate at Maters Pizza. If you have never tried their Tomate pizza, you are missing a wonderful pizza. Well worth the two hour drive (but only in a Z).

Leingod 02-08-2016 01:56 PM

Anyone want to tell me that my Z is still in storage? Cause it is. You're welcome.

I pushed my car a few inches forward and let it roll back.

total mileage for 2016: 6 inches.

Are you sure it's still in storage? The ninja Z thief may have snuck in and disappeared it...:eekdance:

Good. I'll just file for the insurance and go out to buy a 40th or silver sport next time.

DeliriousClam 02-08-2016 07:28 PM

It remains on jack stands because it snows on every day I have available to work on it

This last Sat. I detailed the interior and cleaned the door and seats with Woolite, It turned out beautifully if I don't say so myself

I drove 7hrs on Saturday to see my best friend at his son's house. We got him back in the states from the Philippines 3 weeks ago. The first time I saw him since 07' was at the hospital 3 weeks ago. We had a few laughs and enjoyed each others company. Lung cancer is taking it's toll. My suspension fund was well spent to help get him back home. He just about didn't make it home to see his kids or me for that matter. It was damn nice to see him again. This sucks..............

Finally got my car lowered today. Also installed evo-r front lip couple days ago. Will have some pics up tomorrow. :)

DeliriousClam 02-10-2016 09:43 PM

Got new rotors, stoptech brake pad, and my EVO-R side diffusers arrived. Just need to wait for my rear diffuser and bumper add-ons.

Actually. Question for anyone who has bought from Shine Auto:
I ordered rear bumper add-ons 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing from them. Is this normal? I e-mailed them today.

yes sir, ordered Friday, arrived Monday, super fast. My friend has one for his BMW from a different company and it has a pivoting attachment instead of just a straight rod-to-plate thing, but I can't complain, it fits the nismo bumper perfect!
Probably going to take it off if I'm not driving in the city, it makes the car look a little tacky :(

You're worried about that car looking tacky?

Daduc 02-11-2016 03:49 PM

What did you do with your Z today VI (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Took the Z to top speed and got #robtuned. Car made 325hp and 260tq. I was on the fence on getting a tune, but I'm very glad that I did.

It really is a different car. It feels 100% less sloppy and more focused!

Who would have ever thought that keys dangling from the steering column would help define a "classic look"?

Nice observation, but the car does not run without a key in the ignition. I did look for the push button start though...

45 year old technology...

What are you going to do...

I really like that stance, not too low that it ruins things. Looks good, what wheels are those?
