I washed mine today, but it doesn't look this nice. Great job!

I was too pooped to take a picture after washing it on a 91 degree afternoon, but it was filthy and I had to get it done because it's going to get hot here for the rest of the week.

^^^

I was the one complaining about the heat. MS, not MI.

But I haven't reached those digits on my dash yet.

That gives me oil temp anxiety

Hotrodz 07-13-2015 12:20 PM

Lol, I wished I had taken a picture of mine from last summer in Phoenix,124*. My oil temps never went above 240* with the AC blasting and traffic. Once I got her rolling the temp dropped to 225. I have an Fast Intentions 34 row oil cooler...it's awesome.

I had a nightmare these past few days.

nightmare 1) my engine cut power when i was being spirited and woke up scared

nightmare 2) i was driving, clutch hit the floor and didnt come back... i literally ran outside to my car at 3 am to check my clutch fluid.

fml being sick and delusional makes me sad :(

LOL, CSC failures would happen with 260z, 280z, 280zx, 300zx, etc. It's nothing new. The only new thing is you have to drop the tranny to get to it with it being inside the bellhousing. Don't sweat it. It's just part of it. I have driven home over the years many times with no clutch due to this issue and it's still not fun. The problem comes when you ruin your CMC while trying to get home because you roach the seals with no brake fluid to lube it. As long as I can crank my car up with no clutch, to the house I will go.

Good luck with your nightmares.....

i suppose u can gain some confidence if you prepare yourself for such event.

for instance keep an empty gas container and funnel in the garage that your family can bring to you if you do encounter a starved fuel pump.
keep a bottle of brake fluid and a small funnel, and even a spare csc in the garage.

brainstorm steps you would take in cause you do encounter it.

.. i guess? kinda like preparing your house for a major storm or something.

What does the "D" mean? I don't see that on my 370's instrument panel. Is something wrong?

I suggest professional help.

jpkirk 07-15-2015 01:54 PM

But what kind of professional?

jpkirk 07-15-2015 01:54 PM

A professional hockey player might not provide the help he is looking for.

I will report back later. I still need to do a test drive to see if they fly off, but a 6ft roll was 10 dollhairs so im not too worried about it.

Did the simple gtr start button swap, took about 5mins! Just took a small flat head and insert in the top left and bottom right corners of the start button and you'll hear clicks and it will come right out :happydance:

The GTR button modification allows the Z to start 1/10 second faster.

Need to clean up the Z after yesterday. Rain at the autox. :driving:

Wet mid morning but dry start and sunny afternoon.

Highlight of the day was spinning through the expensive side of the timing gear during free runs. They had to replace it. :( Sorry guys. Kinda held up the show for about 10 minutes.
