What a transformation! The pedal set to max height and max modulation zone.

Awesome!!! I picked up one from black friday - now I'm just waiting for it to show up. Hoping to install over Christmas (though it has to get in line behind diff cover upgrade, diff bushings, tranny mount, motormounts, and fixing some nagging issues. So who knows if I will actually get to it.

I've had this clutch kit sitting here for the past 3 to 4 months, so I know the feeling.

Finally installed my flat bottom wheel

My brother and I just got back from the dealer for our first $5 oil changes. We also made sure to check the level when we got home. All good. Sure, it's a Mobile 1 synth blend, but you can't beat 5 bucks for 100k miles.

You guys forgot to mention that plastidip doesn't look like paint. Or that it will ruin my wheels oem finish.

I haven't installed them yet, but I painted my Akebono calipers. I used 6 coats VHT caliper paint then 3 coats of VHT caliper clear over the decals. After they dried over night I baked them at 200f for an hour and the finish seems to have come out very good.

What'd you think that leather mask I sent you was for?

Z_ealot 12-12-2016 08:06 PM

Changed out the thermostat on saturday after having some overheating issues that werent solved by coolant bleeding or a new radiator cap. Problem was solved with the thermostat :)

bridgekid 12-12-2016 08:56 PM

It's a good combo wombo. I got my car and 1 month later ordered the intakes and exhaust when the dollar was above par! Now it's rediculous expensive to get parts

Ain't that the truth. Trying to get some NAFTA sheets filled out so I don't get impaled on a bunch of parts coming in. Don't usually self broker but it's so out of control right now it makes it worth spending the time.

UPS is STILL picking me around on this, refusing to release the shipping manifest which is the fourth and final form I nee to clear it. A Customs agent even called them directly from the CBSA office and asks for it and they even told them no. Some balls. Outright extortion purely designed to push you into using them to broker your shipment.

Screw that I'm not letting them make a damn dollar off me the pricks. Had ti hire a third party broker to clear it for me. Extra expense but at least its cheaper than UPS and I'd rather pay someone else even if it was bit more.

If it wasn't from someone on the board here, and a business instead, I'd have refused the shipment and just had them send it back.

Unfortunately i wasnt that lucky, mine failed in a partially closed position so it was still flowing coolant, but would still make the Z overheat....oh and also update, switched out a faulty fan speed control module today so the Z is officially fixed as far as mechanical parts go lol

And reminds me I found a screw in my front 71R before I parked the car that I should pull off and bring it for a plug. Slow leak and car ain't leaving the garage so I'd forgotten all about it.
