I used to own a 300z, then a 350z, then once we had our first kid I bought a new WRX. Kept it for less than 2 years, fun car but I hated how cheap it was put together. Got a used camry to drive daily and for trips with the kid, then got a new 370z with sports package.
To me this is the ideal set up, I would not like beating on the Z every day, but you could drive it daily and have a blast every day, I am a bit more OCD. While I don't have enough experience with the 370z to tell you about reliability, we owned the two Z's I mentioned above, and a G35S, and they've been BY FAR the most reliable cars we've owned. Paint quality is not great, yep, but you can put a clear bra on the front, and if you think Z's have bad paint, go look at a WRX with 300 miles on the clock, way worse... Same for the interior, if you think a base Z has poor interior drive some other 30k cars, I think you will realize the Z is better than most. |
