A New version of the Nismo ?

In all seriousness, if this thread can add a poll to it, it would be more helpful. If the new nismo costs $41k, I'd love to know how many people

In all seriousness, if this thread can add a poll to it, it would be more helpful. If the new nismo costs $41k, I'd love to know how many people would buy it off over the base + sport. IMHO, it's more like a base face lift like 2013 model. It doesn't look like a nismo anymore.

That was the first thing I noticed, and the only thing I care about! (I do love the seats, but I already got seats nicer than those recaros lol) If we can swap that new 3.9FD pumpkin into these cars, I am down. Then just need Uprev or Ecutek to figure out how to reprogram the RPM for SRM already.

Someone hurry up and buy the 2015 Nismo 6MT as soon as it is out, slap a turbo on it and then I will do a pumpkin swap with you so that 1st gear is usable for you again, and I get the nice 3.9's
You can already buy 3.90 tomei gears thru z1. They've been available for years now. My ? Is what if any tweaks to the ecu were made to keep srm happy.

Oh I know I can buy them. For $700 and then installation lol. I'd much rather do a pumpkin swap with someone that went turbo on this new Nismo and then satisfy both our needs, for free while eating some pizza and having a beer.

Hm. So, now that I think about it... this is kind of a "Z34.5" Nismo -- neither a Z34 nor a Z35. Although it's mostly a Z34 it does technically have updates in terms of performance, amenities, and cosmetics...

All I want to know is what, if anything, does this indicate about the Z35...

That the z35 is still at least one year away.

Boring.

Only thing that I like are:

1. Front bumper

2. Recaros

I like it but I don't love it. The front seems to be more detailed but also toned down from the original. Looking at the car from a side view, the wat the front end leans out reminds me of the 240Z, which is nice. Wheels from the original Nismo look nicer IMO.
And just as 95% of you have said, the car isn't a Nismo without its spoiler just as a STI isn't a STI without it spoiler.

Well I know a lot of people don't like it but I am one that does. I did just happen to get my 2014 in November so I might consider trading in. This has a much better front end then the 2014's and the rear is nice too. I am just not that impressed with those wheels as the ones I currently have.

Put me in the "like" file. Great to see that old horrible barn door of a wing gone.

Aggressive... This should have come out in 2013.Impact would have been better to Z enthusiasts. I think members are "rightfully" anxious for a Z35 to go against the competition that many just see this Nismo as "lipstick on the pig."

Me personally. This is "THE" Z34. It needs the 2014 wing though, desperately. Probably a Nismo part selling scheme by not having a proper wing. I just hope VVEL was smoothed out.

Good work Nissan... 2 years late though. I'd still strongly consider the purchase. Also I think this Nismo is giving hints to the Z35 architecture with this Nismo. I believe the design will be evolutionary, not revolutionary
