I really want to beat myself with a damn hammer. Im way too poor for this to happen to me right now. Hopefully ill still have a roof over my head at the end of the month lol.

you can call up nissan consumer affairs and see if they can reimbuse you for the work. they should. the same damn lock is used. even the recalled lock will eventually fail unless you do the brown wire cut or fuse pull.
