I did the same thing, ran test pipes with short tails……… after about 2 weeks I put the muffler back on

love the OEM exhaust with my GTM test pipes

I believe I will be doing the same thing. At idle, its the best sounding car in the world. Anything above 1000 rpms and my ears bleed. lol.

what killed me was the drone on the highway when you were cruising in 5th or 6th I loved it as long as I was on the throttle and shifting gears but at a constant RPM = SUPER DROAN!
