HAHA. Both my fiance and I were married for 10 years before we met each other. We are doing a super simple wedding with only a few close friends this time. Nothing major.

I wouldn't have even spent half of what our wedding was if it was up to me. Having a wife that used to be a wedding planner sucks big time. But I agreed under the following terms: 1.) Wedding paid in full day of. 2.) We split the bill down the middle. 3.) I'll put off my car once again BUT that I will buy a car after the wedding and she has ZERO say on price or what I get as long as it's less than the cost of the wedding. Surprisingly she agreed AND came through on all aspects.

I must say though, she put together one hell of a day...and arranged a 6hr top shelf open bar.
