![]() Other option would be to buy a nice beachfront condo somewhere and rent it out when you're not using it.

All I saw was TAXFREE...
For me, I would never pay off the House...At today's rates being 3.75%, you are borrowing the money for free after deductions...No paying the House..If you have one. Refinance NOW A paid off house is illiquid and you can get a loan for 3.75% and you can make double that Investing. Some people need a paid off home...With Interest rates below 4%, it is a no brainer....Re finance, or buy a Home with only 20% down. Second I would invest at least 30K to 50K in Dividend paying stocks and reinvest the dividends...At 7% it will double in 10 years... Then just for fun, blow 10K to 15K on your car if you want. And bank the rest for unknown futures costs...

First off nice winnings!
- TT the Z with all the best parts, components and tune (15K) - Put 10K aside to get top notch rubber tile flooring and other sweet items for my dream garage when I move next year. - Invest 25K or dump into my RRSP - Remaining 25K should get me a great 3rd car for winter beater/daycare drive duty. something I'll actually like driving instead of the current 09 Golf City I have.

if you don't have anything to pay off and dont need the money for a family.
you can buy a nice car like a GTR or mod the Z. keep in mind one thing, if you mod that Z you better keep at least 10k around for something that might break. keep enough money to replace a engine or other major drivetrain components.
