Especially in rain/at night. I get the water refraction can potentially make light enter it at just the right frequency, but come on. I had an hour drive yesterday and I'm sure that thing went off 50+ times. 
It's not a defective product by any means because when it works, it's awesome. But I'm trying to figure out if my rear sensor has gone bad some how? |
ive had this happen with my 8500 x50. mostly when raining as you said, but once i became aware of the use of lasers for cruise control etc. as edconline mentioned, i did notice it was mostly happening when i was driving near newer luxury cars and SUVs. so I suspect that is the culprit.
