9500ci is definitely the way to go.

Laser Interceptor is the "best of the best" when it comes to laser jamming, and IIRC, it even has a switch to put the system in "parking sensor only" mode.

"Jammer? No officer, those are parking sensor heads, go ahead and test them."

Agreed. I have a 9500ci but the Laser interceptor tests better than them all. I'm working on stealthing my lights and plates now.

if you can I would love to see some more setups since it would be the same unit as I want. A lot of the pics/threads on the forum are for either the 9500xi or the V1 detector.

Sorry this took so long here are the 9500ci pix I promised.
Front "diffusers" (in grill next to plate)
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362279209.635906.jpg

Rear "diffuser" right above plate
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362279259.800583.jpg

Control head which I might move
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362279290.413218.jpg

Display unit I will soon be putting onto my mirror to shine from inside
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362279427.317276.jpg

Led which reflects off my speedo (really only visible at night.) blips red when I'm getting lit up by speed gun
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362279493.974937.jpg
It's a poor picture but it acts like a kind of heads up display on my speedo. I can't really get a good pic if it cause its dim and overpowered by flash.

The display ANC control unit could be way better concealed (you can put them anywhere really.)

In fact I just moved it mid post to here (better I think)
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362280324.440987.jpg
My wrist was bumping the volume while driving sometimes and it looks less out of place there.

Anyhow I hope the install pix help.

p.s. I made that iphone mount next to the control unit out of an old mophie Juice pack case. It works great. I attached it with som bendy thin iron by pulling out the shift lever cover and screwing it into a screw up on there. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362280650.195611.jpg
But that another topic.

They also very carefully explained the process to turn it on/off. (10 seconds tops from the control head, its about like adjusting the volume)

So, if you are in a "jammer illegal, but detector legal" state, you are still good to go to get one professionally installed. Then its up to you to decide when and where to turn the jammers on.

Or just install it yourself, but its pretty involved and you have to pull out a LOT of trim, open the stereo up for a good power lead, unzip your steering wheel, and probably the bumper too. Fun if your a preficient install guy, (I am not THAT good)
Me either...lol
But it easy to master the operator side.. Really once it's set.. It is self sustaining minus the occasionally USB update

Currently using the 9500ix and the ZR4 shifter. The detector has paid for itself literally countless times over, especially considering the GPS function for speed cameras which are everywhere here. The only good thing is that because of the speed cams generating so much revenue, there are rarely any actual cops out doing speed traps And radar detectors, laser jammers and all the like are totally legal out here in the 'Wild West' lol.

The ZR4 has been good so far, haven't had any massive saves from it on the HWY yet, but it's bought me some time in the city before.

I have a few Ladar sites on the way to work. My 9500ci has been working like a champ. I believe that the warning tone only goes until the cop takes his finger off the trigger with a recorded speed. In my area, the warning tone goes for 10 seconds usually meaning the popos are having a hard time reading my speed. In fact, I usually have turned off the 9500 BEFORE they are done lazing.

I was going to get some VEIL for the front plate, but I don't think I need it based on these results.

9500ci. Good stuff.

I have the 9500ci as well, and it works wonders...

Except for the rear laser sensor. That thing goes off ALL THE TIME now.

Especially in rain/at night. I get the water refraction can potentially make light enter it at just the right frequency, but come on. I had an hour drive yesterday and I'm sure that thing went off 50+ times.

It's not a defective product by any means because when it works, it's awesome. But I'm trying to figure out if my rear sensor has gone bad some how?

ive had this happen with my 8500 x50. mostly when raining as you said, but once i became aware of the use of lasers for cruise control etc. as edconline mentioned, i did notice it was mostly happening when i was driving near newer luxury cars and SUVs. so I suspect that is the culprit.
