Yes, I know it may not be worth it, but any gain is better than no gain, and long tubes are illegal. And I just want a full setup!

Why not the z1 headers? Z1 headers will require a 350z HFC but it fits and should give you some power gains

Because I'm kind of nervous about putting 350z HFCs on it, and I want either stillen or berk HFCs , since I've heard good things about both and like the way they sound, also the z1s are a little bit out of my price range.

Everybody told u to leave the stock headers alone, not worth it. U probably get better gain from upgraded intake manifold vs stillen shorty.

Berk makes 350z cats you could use with Z1 headers

While I agree with members suggestions that gains are very minimal for the expense of header/labor $$$

I might suggest NST lightweight under drive pulleys as an alternative.

The gains will be in line with a short header swap and less expensive altogether.

Hey, it's your money but consider this. How will changing a factory tuned header to an aftermarket header produce any noticeable gains from an already highly tuned engine? You can only squeeze so much power out from this engine. These engines being highly tuned already don't respond the same as for example, a small block chevy would with similar mods. Money better spent on a good tune vice headers. If you want real power gains, go FI.

Fast intentions will make you a catback with HFCs in it so you can run their long tubes and still be legal. That's a far better hp/$ ratio for the same install cost.

How about trying a different approach OP. It's not ALL about producing higher HP. Have you considered modifications to save weight? Z1 has a 2 piece rotor set available at a decent price point. NST underdrive pulley is another good option. How about a lightweight battery?

You see where I'm going with this.

No reason to do headers if you don't install them your selves or you have to run HFC's. Your just robbing yourself. Cost of header install and the restrictions of HFC's.

If long tubes are illegal, I'm sure a header swap with HFCs is too... Actually, I know it's illegal...

Stillen and Berk make HFCs for the 350Z too... The ONLY difference is the flange.

Exactly. If you're going to WASTE your $600+ on Stillen headers I dont understand why you don't save an extra few hundred to get better than stock headers...

The best review I've seen on a friend's car was 7hp... Another friend, +2HP... The dyno reads +/- 5hp anyways...
