OP Get a 13 and enjoy. Pilot Super Sports for tires(Michelin). Dont worry about snow if you do go that route. I drive mine here in Germany rain, snow or shine. Drives fine! If its really bad you should not be on the road in any vehicle. Dont use all season tires.
Car is low maintenance and fun to drive. Get a good thorough test drive and sleep on it and go from there.
