Traded in my 360 Modena for a NISMO!

I thought i would get this response!

Well i never said it was a easy choice but it was one i felt should be done, yes the 360 was great but i needed a car i could drive every day, and the Nismo is just that car, it handles just as great as the 360, and i even feel the power delivery is also the same, very linear and very strong and feel that the nismo could beat my 360 in a race

I also got a great deal on trade (even trade) My Nismo is fully loaded and had a sticker of 46k plus 3k ( wanted vehicle) added to the sticker to make it almost 50k out the door with tax, fees etc


I was looking at a GTR aswell but i just loved the Feel of the Nismo and how rare it is, thus the 3k mark up! Its getting tons of looks and my boyfreind thought it was a new Porsche!

Actually the NISMO is about equivalent at least in a rolling race situation. I happened to be on a closed course just minding my own business going 70mph when a 360 spyder rolled up and reved at me. Being that I was on a closed course race track I said what the hell and dropped it into 3rd gear. At the sound of my exhaust screaming the Ferrari owner responded. We took it to 130mph and it was dead even. We did this 3 times and every time I was able to hang with him. I waved after the last run and he just gave me a pissed off look and took off. My NISMO does have an upgraded exhaust but it only gives a small gain over stock.

Still, the Ferrari is definitely a looker. I've heard they aren't cheap daily drivers though so I know what you mean about being able to have something that is cheaper to DD.

Since we know you're a guy... C'mon the Ferrari must be WAYYYYY easier to pull women... And I know the 360 was the bastard child of Ferrari... But yeah... It's a GD FERRARI!!!

OP is a guy that has a boyfriend, i doubt he wants to be pulling girls with his cars. His boyfriend would probably not like that very much.

If this is even true, I'm sorry this wasn't a good deal. Even trade? I just look on ebay for Modenas, and the cheapest one I seen was 65k, all the way up to 124k. And 50k OTD for a 370z is ridiculous.

Ouch! My fully loaded Nismo was $36K off the showroom floor - got it under invoice. No rare car fees? Its not a very rare car really. Honestly there isnt much differnce between Nismo and Sport model.

So they gave you $50K for your 360? And you paid $50K for a Nismo? Yikes? Most 360's go for $75K to $100K.

The dealer who did this deal is slimy if thats really how deal played out! They banked $30K plus on that deal.
