Ok, I just solved this problem on my 09 Z on Sunday. I was 100 miles away from home when my steering lock stuck. I simply hit the steering lock

Ok, I just solved this problem on my 09 Z on Sunday. I was 100 miles away from home when my steering lock stuck.
I simply hit the steering lock itself with the side of a pair of pliers (all I had in my car) and kept pressing the START button until you hear the steering lock retract. After that the car was in "ACC" mode and I pulled the fuse so it will never happen again. If you have any questions feel free to ask. |
