Just don't buy anything older than a 2012, the previous years tend to have more issues and most seem to have been resolved with the 2012 production run. Definitly stay

Only issue I know of that was resolved was that in 2012, they added an oil cooler. Unless I've missed something...

I bought my '09 Z new in '09 and it's been virtually perfect.
You may be able to get a new base 2012 in a few months for $30,000 if you shop carefully and bargain hard. I did in December '09.
