Why are reviewers so hard on the z?

The car had oil issues, brake cooling issues, still has the fuel starve issue.

But it is a much more fun car than reviewers would lead you to believe, and so far, it has been 100% reliable for me.
Per the article, it is about "when the warranty lapses and mechanical issues arise, all the prestige and performance mean nothing as the car languishes in the shop, racking up costly repair bills. That's exactly what the vehicles on this list will do." which has nothing what so ever to do with track performance.

Not saying that the car is perfect or free of issues (we can all rattle them off faster than our parents birthday's probably), but saying the 370z introduces "a host of problems that didn't exist before, particularly related to the engine and transmission. The drive system, suspension and brakes are also failure-prone." is totally false and an outright lie.

Who gets brake fade driving to work? How many have had suspension failures? What are these engine problems? If they are equating tracking to daily driving, then this is mostly just a load bunk. If not, I would like to see where they got their numbers because all these problems are news to me as it relates to driving to and from work.
