Will be doing it when I stop being so lazy. I hear getting to that fuse panel is a little tricky.

A more dedicated DIY thread might be nice, maybe I'll take some pics when I do it.

Tried to pull the fuse but it's not there in the 2011 model.

So their is no steering lock issues in 2011's? I could have swore I saw that they didnt get rid of the steering lock until the 2012 model, someone please correct me if I am wrong

I just pulled my steering lock fuse out of my 2011. We picked it up in March 2011. My understanding is they discontinued the use of the steering lock mid-2011. Removal took <10 min

Yup As daisuke mentioned in another thread, just check the steering wheel with the car off to see if you have a steering lock

I voted No because I preemptively cut the brown wire last night.

Own a 2011 Nismo w/ 6k miles, lock was rev. C, car build date of Oct. 2010.

Thanks for all the research into this.

Pulled mine on my '09 preemptively at 11,000 mi. This situation is an outrage.
