Default tested ms confirmed - "stop lamp" fuse pulled = stand still burnouts allowed

I thought it was your abs fuse that needed to be pulled but it is indeed your STOP LAMP fuse in our fuse box by drivers side foot panel that needs to be pulled. It's a 10 amp fuse . No dash lights came on until after I did the burnout...

Restarted the car and all lights went back to normal.

When the Wifey gets home I am gonna see if it does eliminate your brake lights ...

I wish I knew this earlier !

Thanks to whomever suggested this In one of the 12.9 threads !

your brake lights do not work while the fuse is out... So dont do it until you get to the track.

Its a pain to remove and a bigger pain to reinstall, I use needle nose plyers on the fuse,
And the burn outs are good 7000 in second gear gets the tires hot. You can see my burn outs in the " drag section , Under Z eliminator drag videos,
I have drag radials on the car.

This is the fuse box right? and it's the stop lamp fuse that needs to be taken out? I just don't want to be mistaken.
How is it a pain to remove and reinstall? When I look at the fuse box by the driver side, it seemed pretty straightforward. I quickly found the stop lamp fuse. Shouldn't the little plastic "fuse clip" be enough to take it out?

Everything goes back to normal though, when you reinsert the fuse? Nothing out of the ordinary happens?

Yup, use the fuse puller up in the top right and take out the "stop lamp" fuse...

you will not have break lights while its out but everything goes right back to normal after you put it back in...

I don't know about this. Don't most racetracks require you to have working brake lights to be allowed to run in a street drag event?

I think they require a rear parking lamp. I don't believe it has to be a functioning brake light. I could be wrong though...

Just pull it in the staging lanes or pits... they'll never even notice.
