So let me get this straight. You are going to fire Michael and Samir and give me a raise? Hahahahaha. Remember, a real gansta doesn't flex nutz cause a real gangsta knows he's got em!

I took the Z out early this morning in hopes of getting an alignment but no luck. The place that was recommended to me turned out to be closed on the weekends and its $60 with their system built into the ground, so it's low car friendly.

After that I went to Firestone on the other side of town where I get a local discount. No waiting and just $56.17 out the door.... Car couldn't get up and onto the rack!

So I drove to a few places with the same issue. One brand new Firestone had a new rack built into the ground and would gladly accommodate my Z but there was a 2hr wait and no local discount. Best the manager would do was $69+tax.

So I will pay my room mate in gum to take my Z to the recommended place for $60 and I know I can count on them to do a good job since they've done all my friends Z's.

So I just wasted gas and time today.

Put 20mm spacers on the front. Had 25mm for the rear. Initial test fit looked ok. But then I was like, omg... no. I'm not going to be "that guy". Gotta get thinner spacers. Maybe 15mm for rear. That should work. Anybody need 25mm spacers? One is brand new and one was one for test fit and taken off. Should probably post this in the sales section. lol

But yeah, front looks nice and flush now. Rather line up well with the rear in stock format. :) Tonight... oh I don't know. Thought about rolling to the little car meet up the road but then I spied a bottle of wine on my counter. Think I'm gonna drink it.

Footloose301 04-20-2013 05:08 PM

15 front. 20 rear is perfect

Took her to the MotoGP practices today at COTA. One of the COTA workers said he loved my car. :)

dmhenderson 04-20-2013 05:34 PM

Big MAZOC cruise. Loads of fun and then lunch at Harpers Ferry and a somewhat relaxing ride home. All that mountain "spirited" driving and my left ankle is actually kinda sore from working the damn clutch.

SPOHN 04-20-2013 06:56 PM

Bleed brakes. Track day Monday.

In my area, the regular shop(like firestone, town fair tires) won't do allignment for me once I had coilovers and camber kits on my car.:(

Wow, and you're riding on Swifts? Hmmmm.

edconline 04-21-2013 12:12 PM

Today I drove it to get a coffee! Now you might be thinking that's hardly exciting, but this is the first snow free day here that I've been home, and the sand/gravel is largely swept to the sides. Only had to dodge potholes

Went for an early morning drive. Took advantage of the empty roads and stretched her legs a bit :)

Nailzs 04-21-2013 12:42 PM

Vacuumed the weekly dirt and grass this morning and put a coat of leather conditioner on the seats.

DLSTR 04-21-2013 02:11 PM

Z got a wash, clay, glaze (1st time ever - I used Adam's Brilliant Glaze), and wax today. Met up with some friends to watch some Spurs playoff action, and happened to be near a decent photo op. Pics will be forthcoming after dinner

Dystopia 04-21-2013 06:54 PM

Did my first oil change today with Redline 5w30 @ 16** miles. Also installed my ZSpeed aluminum splash shield!! Really nice piece and makes a sweet low budget mod. Forgot to take pics.... :(

Did my best to realign my Berk CBE while it was up on the lift. I still was not able to get the drivers side tail pipe to align with the passenger side depth wise. It sticks out a good 1/2 inch or so further.

Cleaned up the interior a bit with some Meguiars interior stuff.

Busy day for Zora!!

xxAGAVExx 04-21-2013 07:58 PM

Just installed some blue LEDs and clear map lenses. 5 min well spent :)

JARblue 04-21-2013 07:58 PM

Results after four step detail this morning and a convenient photo op

Car's too young for a tranny and diff service. It was the motor. I moved from RL to Amsoil way back when.

Dropped the Z off at Nissan for them to refinish both of my front wheels they messed up Friday.

20/20 is better IMO, but 20/25 would be the best.

I may take Z (I decided I'm just going to call her "Z" :icon17:) to the driving range today. My clubs enjoy riding shotgun.

TheGreatOne 04-22-2013 09:00 AM

Funny stuff this AM :icon17:

So I was about to drive my Forester to the metro (subway) but realized I didn't have to get the baby after work so swapped cars and took my Z. Which meant parking Downtown instead lol.

Get to this lot near my work...wall on the left has 3 nice spaces away from the rest of the lot, prime parking!

This guy in a Civic with way too many stickers and shoddy mods was parking as I pull up next to him to get that 3rd and final spot. He gets out, and compliments my Z saying how sick it is and now he'd have to move his car now as he's embarrassed. I laugh it off as a compliment and walk off....

I forgot my work pass so walked back to my car...and sure enough he moved it and parked near a mini van lol :bowrofl:

Good start to the morning lol

I love southern California! :-D

Drove to work, drove home. On the way home I was passed by a scruffy looking GT-R which makes me wonder, "If the people that buy a GT-R can afford the price of the car why can't they afford to keep it up"? Scruffy is being kind from what I saw today. :shakes head:
