I've been listening to exhaust notes all morning trying to find what I want for mine. Now I have another to listen to... pretty sure this and the Stillen have sounded the best. The FI w/12" resonators sounds great too, but I don't like the look of it one bit.

Yeah, I was torn between the 12' resonated FI and litespeed one also. The deal litespeed has going right now which is $1050 for the SS AND no wait time was both a win in my book. I really wish I could spring for the titanium but lets face it, I don't make that much money nor could I ever justify spending the money for titanium as I don't compete in that kind of level of competition lol.

Basically the "mount" is a Mophie juice pack hard case with the top off. It has a built in iphone connector in it!!!

I'm not a good designer so I'm waaay over proud of this.:icon17::icon17::icon17:

Got my diff and trans fluid changed out with redline.

JARblue 02-22-2013 05:19 PM

GT Mat install going well  I'm taking my time, but that partly because I'm attentive to details and partly because my back and knees start hurting pretty quickly :icon17:

Got her washed and lookin' pretty.

Then I got home and was admiring her when I found this and have no idea how it would have happened... I guess a well timed rock? :shakes head:

I then began looking around the car and noticed some scuff marks just below the hatch on the right side like something or someone rubbed against it putting something in the back (which I haven't done when putting items in the back), so not sure how it happened but they should buff out easily. Just frustrating.

Thanks.

One day when I can get someone w/a decent camera I'll get some solid pics of it.

Thought that was going to be today, but no. :(

Midnight Blue. Much darker than the blue from the 350's.

Took it in at the dealership to have my clutch line, master cylinder, and slave inspected. All good, no leaks, clean as heck. Peace of mind. Tires coming up next, 2mm left, ugh not ready for it yet.

If your fronts have tread and are not feathered then just get a set of rears. When I went to get my rears done I still had almost 6mm on front with 25k on the set.

Took the Z for a cruise around town before the blizzard hits. Miata pulls up next to me eyeballing me tried to "race". I was not going to let him pass me so i give it a go when the light turns green. He left me in the dust, it was not even close... Then i woke up from my nightmare, got ready, and went for a cruise. Miata pulls up next to me... Eyeballing me... But this time is a super hot chick! I gave her a wink, and she smiled. She paced me until i turned off down my road. Such a weird day... You guys ever have dreams and then something happens that day? I think the matrix is glitching

Pintsize725 02-23-2013 04:41 PM

Let my boss set the pace for a few miles. He can afford the ticket anyway.

Some friends of mine would rather go after the "easy catch".
"Easy catches" being the following vehicles.

/we've sat over many beers discussing and me trying to persuade them to get everyone or the lead vehicle.
//never discuss logic with police officers, even if they are your friends. They could always say, "yeah, he's my friend, but I though he was pulling a gun on me."

Meh, the speeding wasn't that bad. Boss likes to baby that car.

Nailzs 02-23-2013 05:23 PM

Washed the Z today using Chemical Guys Citruswash + Gloss. I used 1/2 of a plastic tea spoon in my quart Gilmore foamer. I was shocked at the amount of foam that stuff makes. Foaming and washing I used 1 1/2 plastic teaspoons out of my gallon jug of Citruswash + Gloss. Washing the Z every week the Citruswash may last longer than the Z. :icon14:

I've been wanting aftermarket for a while now. I'll fix it later after I have new wheels.

Pint - you need to get a better tire shine, any products that leave your tires looking brown are no good IMO

It wasn't brown until I curbed it. I don't care about it much either.

Took the Nissan out through Cottonwood and Jerome which are small mining towns perched on the side of a mountain in AZ. You see lots of nice cars through there because of the twisties and is a fun drive with friends. A Foxbody and an SRT buddy were along for the ride. Crappy cellphone pic, sorry! My Nikon buddy will send me the ones he took at some point.

Very cool! It's on my to do list....Prescott to Jerome to Cottonwood to Sedona to Flagstaff. If that trip doesn't light your fire, your wood is all wet!!!

Let me know if you are up for it one of these days! Today I took the 17 north to the 260, through Cottonwood up to Jerome and down to Prescott. I like ending up in Prescott because there are a few awesome places to eat and a lot less traffic than Flag!

Hotrodz 02-23-2013 09:40 PM

Very cool...I will be in touch.

:driving:New friends helped me install 370z nismo exhaust and also tighten loose control arm nut from when dealer probably removed to replace engine and never tightened back all the way and didn't put in the cotter pins.:shakes head:

Pics of exhaust to come, forgot to take install pics.
