New Optima yellow top:
Hmmmm, hope they gave you a discount on that battery. It has a ship/build date that's almost 8 months old... Now I know Ultimas are AGM batteries, but still....

Fell victim to the infamous CSC Failure in our Z at 36,129 miles. Had to have it towed to Mesquite, TX. Got a loaner and dropped in the service bay to have it fixed under warranty.

Went to dealership today.
- Asked for promised duplicate key, they cannot make the 2014 key so they need to order one. Weird.
- Had dealer remove their advertising from the trunk area. Looks a million times better.
- Had dealer detail the body from where they did not properly remove delivery tape. Lines all over!
- Car Wash, $6.
- Asked about Clear Bra, they used to do it, they say $1,750 is a good price.
- Smelled something burning, smelled sweet, they found nothing.
- Drove to Cheesecake Factory in Irvine Spectrum. Yummy.

So tell me what to pay, where to get it, and do they have a lifetime warranty.

Well...I didn't do anything much fun with the actual car. However, I was shopping on ebay (for Christmas) and saw this:

New 1 32 Nissan 370Z Coupe Alloy Diecast Model Car with Sound Light Red B254 | eBay

I may have to buy it.

I asked about covering the front bumper, fenders, and hood. I got a quote of about $1200 from PDIClearbra & tint here in Kansas City. They offer lifetime warranty on their stuff. I'm going to have mine done after I change the front bumper, no sense doing it twice.

Well yea that's Kansas City! Out here in California the economy is way different. We starve on $25/hr pay!

I went to the motor4toys show and had a great time with the Fast Intentions crew, and also got to get a little spirited driving in on the way home!

Today the dealer called me nd apologized for not having the spare key available for me as they promised, so because I drove in a few times already they are giving me a tank of gas for my troubles when I get the key. Yay!

Today I went to Cabazon outlets and gave my money to Bose, Versace, and Gucci. Parking sucked!
