Can I ask what you used to paint the dipstick? I have been meaning to do that for a while now, but I never convinced myself that the color match paint I have would stand up to the heat in the engine bay. That color looks excellent IMO and even if it doesn't quite match, I really like the industrial look and finish of it

Did you use the Nanoskin Autoscrub instead of clay?

Its a popular place to meet up for car clubs/bike clubs etc. Enjoy!

I had a can of krylon sitting around. I doubt the paint will withstand the heat of the engine bay... We'll see.

I used a CarPro Polyshave towel. Autoscrub has their version as well. Even better is the CarPro Polyshave block. Easier to use, and I would have used it if I wasn't waiting for it to arrive in my latest order.

Thanks Mr.kenchan.

I was also able to fixed the damage from the piece of truck tire I hit last week. Lucky for me the paint was mostly ok, just had to deal with rubber transfer.

Have I mentioned how much I hate transport trucks and most of their drivers?

Flushed some nasty looking clutch fluid with Motul RBF600 today. It was so dirty that I pumped the entire system 3-4 times probably. I used about 80% of the 1/2 L bottle I had. The pedal seems a bit soft now, but perfectly driveable. I'll see how it goes the next few days and do another air bleed if necessary.
