Actually I have a build in stealth Whistler, which works great, ticket was in Virginia, no radar allowed and turned it off. Was actually not that fast, 82 in a 70 Zone, but 100.- court fees. my fault, but did not think much at 2am on a empty Highway. Anyway, was my first speeding ticket in over 10 Years and did not even argue.

Filed a claim with Nissan Corporate regarding my headliner separating from the front windshield. She put a note in my file regarding my aversion to the local Nissan dealers in town just in case it takes me more than 1000K miles to find another dealer to do the work (I'm at 35K miles and my extended warranty isn't through Nissan). Whee :ugh2:

My localest (closest) dealer are morons, I wouldn't let those guys put air in my tires. I told Nissan this and told them not to bother I wouldn't go there anyway, and Lo and Behold, don't I get a phone call from that same Stealership about Nissan contacting them about problems. I was like all nice and he was all nice and so forth, and he gave me his personal number (I wanted to get the SWL changed) and we concluded our phone call amicably. But, they are still MORONS there. Everytime I leave there I want to wash my car and take a shower, the sales guys there are out and out crooks, and that's just the front area, haha.

There are about 4 Nissan dealers in the Orlando area, so no worries about finding another one, Derek in Deland is highly recommended GTR qualified, but I doubt he has the time to change an SWL. Probably the oil guy gets to "Learn" on jobs like those....oh, those wires, nah, don't worry about them, that scratch, ah it was there before.....CEL? You need to "prove" we did that, etc.

Hope you get your headliner sorted out.

:tiphat: I am half tempted to just use my own warranty, pay the deductible, and have an upholstery specialist do the work. I would prefer that Nissan eat this cost, but I am worried. I stopped by the nearest dealer last Friday to ask them about my SLIP Indicator light that keeps coming on, and not only did they do a brake flush without my permission, they tried to charge me for it  I am so fed up with these idiot dealershits  Not to mention there's the guy that took his Z in for the same issue (headliner replacement), and the techs scratched up a bunch of the plastic trim pieces and didn't even install the headliner correctly - the dealer is going to take care of everything for him, but I'd rather not have to deal with something like that.

Exactly, fix one thing, break two others.

In my earlier post I was not disparaging Deland Nissan in any way, I've never been there, heard nothing but good things about those guys.
My example was purely hypothetically based on real life experience with simple jobs at Stealershits going to the guys with the least to lose. Your car gets damaged and you have little to no recourse, just saying.

OK, now you get to move to the tire/wheels section and tell us what tires you're getting and why? I'm not going to buy for a while but I follow tires pretty closely trying to learn best value for money.

Or fix nothing... the light came back on the same day at lunch. I called them to mention that, and the guy said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" I responded, "What I wish you had done this morning... not a damn thing."
