Be careful with that Super Blue stuff... Apparently it's dangerous. :bowrofl:

Well I was disappointed with SPC quality honestly. the cam bolt did not fit into the cam washers :ugh2: but I made it work. Drilling the holes in the subframe was a pain in the rear though. I didn't drill wide enough because it was just hard on my garage floor. So we couldn't get alignment completely back to OEM spec. Toe is good, camber in rear is -2.3

huh, that sucks about the SPC quality. :( but good job making it all work.

as long as toe is good, some extra camber is fine, imho. :) that will give you more cornering grip anyway.

so, looks like time for stillen swaybars. :icon17: ;) jk

I'll let you know about them. I want to read more a bit about the different sway bars. There is quite a diverse range of stiffness (from my understanding stillen are softest and Hotchkis are most firm)

kenchan 08-19-2013 10:16 AM

stillens offer soft setting, but they also provide stiffer setting using the various endlink mount positions.

np, im only kidding. no need to buy mine. :icon17:

Drove my car freaking hard today! went up Palomar Mountain for the first time since getting an oil cooler, y-pipe and changing my diff./ final drive gear. Wow, so much fun keeping it above 5k the whole time. Quaife is crazy good. Night and day difference. Oil went up to 225 and the tranny was jerky from 3-4 when I pushed it extremely hard. Tranny definitely needs an additional cooler I'm thinking.

Swift SPEC-r installed! After a rounded nut and a day with her on stands she is finally ready , can definitely tell a difference. Now to wait a week and get an alignment. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/20/yba6e3u7.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/20/y3yseda4.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/20/u5yve9aj.jpg
