Looks like time for a new tool (or two).
Feels a little different with just the front replaced, but I REALLY wanted to get both of them done.

Any recommendations for a wrench to pull screwed up nuts? 14 mm is what I'm going to need.

Easy outs. Sears have them.

that sucks. did you mess up on the muffler nuts or mid pipe nuts? post a pic if you can.

should get PB blaster for the muffler nuts and might need this for the damaged ones.

Muffler and end link on one side.'

I drowned them in penetrating oil. Kind of changed my mind about putting in my own exhaust.

Anybody know what size threads those are. They're 14mm heads, but I'd like to replace them when I do get them off.

Installed my Z-Speed under shroud, painted the yellow handle on my oil dip stick, washed, decontaminated, "clayed", waxed (using Auto Finesse Passion pot #12 of 500), and covered. Getting ready for Z-Fest.

Hey bro just take the whole exhause off from the cat back. I had the same problem with the muffler to y-pipe so I took it all off at once...much easier!

They nuts themselves shouldn't have rounded off unless you were doing it incorrectly. For the muffler you need either a cresent wrench or a deep impact socket to start things off. PB is just to help loosen things up and protect the stud and threads. I did my cats at 45k and muffler 5+ times at 45k + miles.

Meilenwerk south of Stuttgart

Redetailed the car and moved out before it got too warm and crowded to Meilenwerk near Stuttgart. Great place for all things car and speed related. Many nice displays/dealers and restaurants and cafe's. Has a nice hotel there as well called the V8 Hotel.

Its a popular place to meet up for car clubs/bike clubs etc. Enjoy!
